The department offers comprehensive Superspeciality Services for Diagnosis and treatment of digestive diseases with state of art equipment and most qualified Consultants in this field.

The unit runs OPD services 7 days a week. The unit provides a complete range of :-

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy ERCP.
Biliary Stent.
I. Stent EST.
Variacial Banding.
Intraoperative Endoscopy.
Surgery for G.I. Bleed.

This is supported by the most modern Operation Theatre with ICU, TICU, HDU, well equipped Anesthesia and Critical Care compliments for management of complex G.I. problems. The department has been managing emergency surgeries including severe abdominal injuries (liver, pancreas, vascular) with excellent results. Some of the other major areas focussed by the department are operation of liver, Biliary tract, Pancreas and Luminal surgery from Esophagus to Rectum. The department’s expertise also includes corrective re-operation for surgical complication.
